Established in 1993
Static Electricity Control (SEC)
and Lightning Protection EPC (LPEPC) have developed a reputation for technical application knowledge and outstanding customer service.
Static Electricity Control & Lightning Protection EPC represent the culmination of over 30 years of service and dedication to the industrial sector by Doug Hale & Jim Sutcliffe.
Whilst Jim worked within the electrical and automation industry during the 1970s and 1980s, it wasn't until 1993 that he established Static Electricity Control. Manufacturing processes had changed considerably during this period. Increase in production speeds, product innovation and consumer demand resulted in an increase in the issues associated with earthing, bonding, static electricity, surge/transients and lightning. SEC became an integral part of the industrial landscape.
In 2013 SEC and Lightning Protection EPC (LPEPC) was purchased by NOVELLA GROUP PTY LTD.
LPEPC pay homage to Doug & Jim and recognise the important contribution they have made to the static electricity control and lightning protection industry.
In 2016 at the Static Electricity and Lightning Conference SELP 16 Jim Sutcliffe was awarded the "Lifetime Achievement Award" for his dedication and service to the Static Control Industry. Well done Jim.
In 2013 LPEPC moved from its' Carrum Downs VICTORIA site, to a purpose built warehouse in Somerville Victoria, with group training, testing and maintenance facilities to further assist our clients.
SEC operate in all countries across South East Asia, OCEANIA including Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Fiji and the Pacific Islands.
